Ely enhancement business case 'should be refreshed' as new plans 'add dimension'

A new report is calling for the business case for the Ely Area Capacity Enhancement programme to be refreshed. ​Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) wants the 2022 case to be updated, arguing that improving the bottleneck where five lines meet will act as 'a lynchpin for unlocking economic and housing growth in the whole East of England economy'.
