Plans to revive a disused railway line between Cardiff and Llantrisant as a next phase of the South Wales Metro project have been revealed. The 12-mile long section of track, running from the north-west of the capital to Llantrisant, has also been identified as a key project in a Ł1bn vision for a new integrated public transport network across Cardiff.
