Govia launches new compensation scheme for commuters disrupted by May timetable mayhem
Thameslink and Great Northern passengers will be able to claim more money back following the May timetable shambles after Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) and the Department for Transport (DfT) agreed to a special compensation scheme for those most severely affected by the changes.

The number of ‘short-formed’ trains run by under-fire operator Northern with fewer carriages than promised has doubled since last year, according to figures seen by The Yorkshire Post.

A Glasgow bus route will be the first to trial a new electric bus by McGill's. The zero local-emission bus is being trialled on the bus company's busy 38 route in Glasgow city centre.
