- £266 million investment in local sustainable transport schemes The Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Transport (Norman Baker): I am pleased to announce today that I am awarding a further £266m to support authorities in delivering local economic growth whilst cutting carbon emissions from transport. This funding unlocks further local funding sources to deliver £460m investment in local sustainable transport schemes.
