Wind power generated in Outer Hebrides could 'power ferry services to islands'
Wind energy produced in the Outer Hebrides could be used to power ferry services to the islands and bring major economic benefits to their people, a major new study has found. Wind power could be used to make green hydrogen that would replace emission-heavy marine oil on established Caledonian MacBrayne routes.
