THE man who advises the Mayor of London on his transport policy says he is hopeful a contract Bombardier is bidding for will still go ahead. Kulveer Ranger, Boris Johnson's director of transport policy, made his comments about the Thameslink contract during a visit to the trainmaker's Litchurch Lane factory yesterday – where he witnessed the production of Sub Surface Line trains destined for the capital.
