Brown launches £30m rail stations investment fund

NEW railway stations could be built and others refurbished with a £30 million investment fund launched by Transport Minister Keith Brown yesterday.

Motorists could be allowed to use red diesel

Motorists could be allowed to use red diesel, cut price fuel normally reserved for farmers, if the tanker drivers strike goes ahead.

Transport Minister Theresa Villiers had dinner with public affairs consultant Simon Hoare, a lobbyist for developers of a £400m rail terminal in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
