RAIL firms in Derby have said they are ready to work with German firm Siemens to deliver a major contract which city train-maker Bombardier missed out on.The Department for Transport has reached an agreement with Siemens to deliver the £1.6 billion Thameslink contract – two years after naming the company as the preferred bidder for the deal ahead of Bombardier.The contract is expected to be formally awarded to Siemens, which will build the trains in Germany, in the next few days...
