Dutch transport giant Abellio has given an update on the status of its bid to build the next phase of the south Wales Metro and run the next Wales & Borders rail franchise.

A meeting of the CCR Cabinet in Nantgarw considered a report from Cardiff City Council Leader Councillor Huw Thomas which outlined the plans, as well as a request for the funding of £40million.
