Greater Anglia forced to drop paper tickets ban

A rail company breached rules and "misled" passengers over plans to discontinue paper season tickets, according to the advertising regulator.

Operators say government should lose oversight of rail

Long-distance routes should also be serviced by more than one company to spark competition, they said.
