  • Clyde shipyard in running for £80m CalMac orderThe last commercial shipyard on the Clyde is competing for the largest CalMac ferry contract for decades. Ferguson Marine, which was saved from closure last year and is the only yard left on the lower Clyde, is bidding to build two 1,000-passenger vessels that together are thought to be worth £50-80 million.
