  • Airport chief Geoff Muirhead to retireMANCHESTER Airports Group chief executive Geoff Muirhead is stepping down after 22 years with the company, it was announced today. Mr Muirhead, 60, will retire later this year once a successor is appointed. He has spent a total of 22 years with the group, joining in 1988 as business development director. Mr Muirhead was promoted to CEO in 1992 and took on his current role in 2001 when the group was formed.
