Revealed: Ł478M underspend on major transport schemes

The government failed to spend almost half a billion pounds of its budget for major transport projects in the last financial year, data has revealed. Figures released by the Department for Transport (DfT) show that its outlay on big infrastructure schemes was Ł478.3M lower than anticipated in 2021/22.
