Chancellor George Osborne should do a U-turn on Heathrow and build a third runway
Mr Osborne is also rapidly warming to the idea of re-opening the debate on the third runway at Heathrow or at least expanding capacity in the South East. Ask any chief executive who has to travel abroad for business and the Heathrow question is front and centre of their mind. One boss described the Government’s present “no expansion” policy as untenable and ridiculous.
