UK expected to ban sale of new petrol and diesel cars from 2030
Boris Johnson is understood to be planning to ban the sale of new petrol and diesel cars within a decade, with reports that the ban will be brought forward by five years.

MORE than 20 years as chairman of Heathrow Association for the Control of Airport Noise (HACAN) are ending for John Stewart. He will be replaced in the new year by Paul Beckford, an experienced campaigner and transport expert who has successfully lobbied on a variety of transport and environmental policies over the past 15 years.
First Bus among travel operators to take part in government partnership
A PARTNERSHIP between Scotland's travel operators, including First Bus, and the local authorities has been announced. The Scottish Government’s Bus Partnership Fund is a £500 million fund which will deliver bus priority measures on local and trunk roads, allowing for improved journey times.
